Backbone Cables
In a SeaTalkng installation, a backbone cable runs through the length of the boat. Individual devices connect to the backbone by spur cables that run to T-pieces on the backbone. The backbone carries both data and power to attached devices. The backbone should be sized so that it will run past every location where an NG or NMEA 2000 device might be installed. Two backbone cable lengths can be joined together by part A06030, a backbone extender. |

ACU-150 Actuator Control Unit
The Raymarine ACU-150 is a component of the Evolution Autopilot system and is designed to provide power and control to a Raymarine Type-1 Hydraulic Drive Unit (M81120.) The ACU-150 connects to the SeaTalkng network for communication with its other peripherals. It also has connections for an optional Rudder Reference Unit (sold separately.) The ACU-150 works on 12-volt DC systems only. To make a complete ACU-150 autopilot system you must also add the Type-1 Hydraulic Drive Unit (M81120), Evolution EV1 Sensor Core (E70096), Evolution Cable Kit (R70160) and either the p70s (E70328) or p70Rs (E70329) autopilot control head. |
